Stainless steel railing attracts another retail specification

neaco’s Spectrum stainless steel railing system has been specified for major retail development following its installation at Asda’s new store in Sheffield.

Stainless steel railing was used externally on a stairway and first floor gallery with Neaco’s Techek aluminium grillage as balustrade infill. The store was designed by Aedas Architects and is the second major Asda development to feature neaco’s products.

Its maintenance-free durability provides a lasting aesthetic and is ideal for high-traffic external areas like the Asda store in Sheffield.  Spectrum was also selected in a nylon coated white finish for an internal stairwell and mezzanine floor at Asda’s Monk’s Cross store near York.”

Requiring no welding for assembly, Spectrum’s versatile modular system has the capacity to meet virtually any design permutation or installation requirement. Its wide range of design options includes offset glass infill, offset top rails with multi-rails or glass, and a choice of tapered or straight flat-bar stanchions. Spectrum’s selection of infills includes vertical or horizontal rails, mesh, aluminium grille panels, perforated panels and toughened glass panels. The system is available in satin polished stainless steel or aluminium nylon powder coated in a wide range of solid or metallic colours.
